Welcome to The Town of Eagle Harbor License and Permits Office. The Permits Commissioner works with the County to ensure that building, site/road, construction, repairs to buildings and structures are coordinated with the Prince George’s County, Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement Office (DPIE). This office is the first step in the permits application process. You may apply at this link. Online Permit Services | Prince George's County, MD (princegeorgescountymd.gov). After applying for your permit through the e-Plan electronic application system, Momentum, and or Virtual Permit Café, and you have received a permit from the county; you can apply for a Town of Eagle Harbor permit.
Public Safety Commissioner: Ronald J. Gaines, Sr.
Mission Statement: Eagle Harbor Safety and Health concerns:
Safety will be an initiative that I will prioritize. I will take a proactive approach to ensure the safety of Eagle Harbor residences, persons, and external property owners. I will attempt to correct and document any issues I observe or brought to my attention. I have communicated with our Maryland law enforcement partners and explored their outsource programs that can be performed here at Eagle Harbor at a convenient time. Health: My concerns and Our concerns are the Covid 19 variants and the various Mosquito viruses. I will monitor and report how the progression of any viruses impacts our community. I anticipate training and encourage participation in a teamwork effort to have trained Eagle Harbor community members trained in First Aid-CPR-AED certification. Communication with PGCHD and other resources for training will be continuous.
Road Commissioner: James Jones
The Road Commissioner monitors the maintenance, repairs and preservation of all town roads. The Road Commissioner is responsible for the town's street lights and signals, including keeping the street signage updated and addressing all complaints involving the streets. The Road Commissioner supervises the maintenance and upkeep of Coleman Creek.
The Road Commissioner ensures that all public access ways are safe and conform to the specifications and requirements of the State of Maryland Department of Public Works and the State Highway Administration as well as the Prince George's County Department of Public Works and Transportation Services.
Sanitation Commissioner: Linda Moore-Garoute
The Sanitation Commissioner is responsible for overseeing and enforcing the guidelines for keeping the town clean and healthy. Water, waste, trash collection and insect control services are addressed by the Sanitation Commissioner.
